Hello readers, I'm Peter Ritchey, advertising sales associate here at country legends 106.9. Having been born and raised in Topeka, just a stones throw from the Washburn University Campus. I've seen a lot of changes and growth over the years. As a kid growing up my parents operated a sign shop, T-shirt shop, and our whole family was and still is involved in various community activities....I guess your never too old to follow mother's orders! I graduated from the University of Kansas with a Marketing degree -- GO HAWKS!!! I have been in sales and marketing ever since.

Some of you may recall how things were 40 years ago, most deals were made face to face and sealed by a hand shake. Although times have changed and life operates a lot faster now days with all the new fangled contraptions and technologies, I still believe they haven't invented anything better than the old fashioned face to face handshake greetings where you know who your deal'n with.
