Financial Gurus Join KTPK
“This is a move we have been working on for a long long time,” said KTPK Country Legends 106.9FM General Manager Jim Allan in announcing that local financial experts Ryan and Roger Shumaker were bring their “Money Insights” program to the station.
Show host Roger Shumaker said that the change to KTPK will “allow significantly more people to have access to our collective financial knowledge and experience on the markets, tax reduction strategies and income planning devices.” KTPK reaches some 110,000 listeners in northeast Kansas and western Missouri. “Our previous station offered nowhere near the audience as KTPK,” Shoemaker continued.
“Ryan and I could not be happier that we will be kicking off our ninth year at KTPK,” Shoemaker concluded.
Money Insights will air every Sunday at 8:30 a.m., beginning July 18.
The Shumakers are principals at Retirement & Tax Solutions, a Topeka-based wealth management firm whose members have been serving the needs of Baby Boomers and retirees since 1987. Their emphasis is on the importance of a simple three-step review process that identifies problems in individuals’ retirement plans. This process helps the consumer answer five critical questions to assure that correct financial decisions are made.
